Isaiah 1:19-21

^19 (A)If you are willing and obedient,
    you shall eat the good of the land;
²⁰ but if you refuse and rebel,
    you shall be eaten by the sword;
    ^(B)for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

²¹ How the faithful city
    ^(C)has become a whore,^{[a]
    (D)}she who was full of justice!
Righteousness lodged in her,
    but now murderers.
